About Calvary Bible Church
By the grace of God, and in accordance with the command of Christ to make disciples of all nations (Matt 28:19,20), we as the elders and founders of Calvary Bible Church set forth to labor fervently towards these goals so that the church may be brought to full maturity in Christ Jesus (Eph. 4:11-16)
Our Church Vision
We desire that the Word of God would dwell richly in each person in the congregation (Colossians 3:16). We want our church to be “people of the Book” and grow in the knowledge and love of Jesus Christ through the reading, studying, memorizing, hearing, and meditating on the word of God.
Our Church Stragegy
We seek to fulfill our vision by:

Preaching the word of God exegetically (2 Timothy 4:1-2)

Encouraging daily reading of the Word through church wide bible reading plans (Acts 17:11)

Leading discipleship groups that train the church in the reading, studying, and memorizing scripture (2 Tim 2:1-2)

Setting the example in our own lives so that we may say faithfully “Follow me as as I follow Christ” (Hebrews 13:7, 1 Cor 11:1)

About our Services
Upon your arrival, you will be warmly welcomed at the door. As you enter, don’t forget to grab one of the many pamphlets available in our Information Center, which provide insights into Calvary Chapel, our services, and ministries.
Our Sunday services, held at 10am and 6pm, commence with prayer, followed by an uplifting worship session filled with music and singing. Calvary Bible Church is fortunate to have talented worship leaders who guide the congregation in praising God. A large screen displaying the lyrics makes it easy for everyone to join in, even if they are not familiar with the songs.
Following musical worship, we will spend some time worshiping though the a psalm together. We will read through and then be prompted to share anything that stood out to or blessed you. Sharing is optional but open to everyone. Then we spend the remainder of the time focusing on the Word of God, picking up right where we left off the previous week. Above all else, our services are centered in and around the Word of God. Our pastors teach verse by verse through the Bible. Previous teachings are available online by clicking the Teachings link in the menu above.
We consider ourselves a "come as you are" church. Worship goes beyond clothing or appearances. Dress however you feel most comfortable. We simply want you to feel warmly welcomed, and ultimately fed and challenged by the teaching of God's Word. Services are roughly an hour long, with an opportunity to meet or pray with our pastors following the services.
You will notice during the teaching that we teach out of and cite the NKJV version of the Bible; but you are free to bring whatever version you are most comfortable with. If you don't have a Bible or forgot to bring yours, the ushers make Bibles available so you can follow along with the study.
We take communion on the last Sunday of the month. Anyone who has received Christ as Savior is welcome to participate. If you're unsure whether or not your sins have been forgiven, please visit our "AM I REALLY SAVED?" page.
